Snort~~ I don't think so! What an oxymoron! If Islam takes over the world~~which is their goal; then American feminists better beware........their time will be short....

Often (and incorrectly) called the 'separation' clause; the relevant part of the 1st Amendment says that the "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. . ."

We won't go into the extremist interpretation of it as now applied by an activist judiciary, that's for another topic. The reason that the Framers included that clause was because they recognized the danger inherent in any form of government that presumed to speak for God."

...A former Muslim who was mentally and physically abused by her Islamic husband says the premier of Ontario, Canada, did a wise thing by rejecting a request by Muslims to use Sharia law to settle family disputes. W.L. Cati, the now Christian founder of Zennah Ministries, says Premier Dalton McGuinty made the right decision. She says if the Ontario Muslim community were allowed to settle family matters using Sharia law, "women totally would be giving up their rights. The fathers can take the children without the mothers' permission, and they may never see the children again." Under the strict Islamic code, Cati contends, there is nothing there to protect those mothers, "because in Islam, it says if you're not a Muslim you're not allowed to raise the children. Basically it would affect women and children horrifically." But unfortunately, the former Muslim points out, something akin to Sharia law seems to have crept into one U.S. community. "My concern is here in the states, what's going on in Dearborn, Michigan," she says. "We've almost got Sharia law there with 100,000 Muslims in that area. I think at one point they had the sheriff and the mayor both were Muslim and they were basically ruling the city from the Islamic laws."
