The Lies about Palestinian Nationalism

...David Horowitz, a former liberal turned conservative political icon, says the Arab propaganda machine has been very successful in perpetuating the idea that the terrorist war against Israel is based on social justice and human rights. But Horowitz, president of the California-based Center for the Study of Popular Culture (CSPC), contends that Palestinian nationalism is connected to both Nazism and communism. The Center has recently released a booklet called "Big Lies: Demolishing the Myths of the Propaganda War Against Israel," written by Jewish researcher David Meir-Levi. According to Horowitz, the book chronicles the origins of the Middle East conflict. "Arab nationalism was first inspired by Nazism," he states. "Actually, the godfather of Palestinian nationalism, al-Husseini, went to Berlin to recruit Arabs for Hitler's cause." In the 1970s, the CSPC head notes, North Vietnamese communist leader Ho Chi Minh convinced a Palestinian leader to change his movement's slogan to national liberation. "They needed to present themselves as an oppressed people against the imperialist Israel and the United States, which they've done very successfully, and they have the support of the whole American Left for their genocidal agendas against the Jews." The truth, he asserts, is that the Palestinians' objectives are to kill all the Jews and destroy the nation of Israel. (Psalm 83)
